I am 40…something :). I’ve been married to the love of my life (DH=Dear Husband) for 20 years (April 2011) and have a 10-year-old son (April 2011), who I refer to as (LM=little man), 3 step “bonus” adults and 8 grandchildren. We live a great life in the country. We raise chickens, honeybees and love to garden. We eat what we can from the garden, and can, freeze, dry and give the produce away.
My husband loves to cook. He also grills outside. He “creates” his own recipes. I cook too, just more traditional things. I like to use other people’s recipes’ ….DH doesn’t.
We homeschool our LM (Little Man) and belong to a homeschool support group and a CO-OP. We actually call it a homeschool extension. I play a big part of helping them with paperwork, lists and spreadsheet, class schedules, addresses and phone numbers, sign in sheets…. I also sit at the “welcome table” and take tuition money and answer questions. Chick-fil-a comes twice a month an I am in charge of taking care of that. I love it. I love the peole there, too.
We believe in The WHOLE Bible. Including Yahweh and Yahshua (Jesus). We celebrate the 7 feasts of the Bible, the Torah (the first 5 books), we eat Levitically and Shabbat on Saturdays.
My DH (Dear Husband) and I built our house from the ground up with a little help with the A/C, the siding and the staircase. We did the rest of it by ourselves. (Our children helped for a day or two. ☺ ) It was a very fulfilling experience…and it’s all paid for!
So far, all of the headers (photographs) on my blog have been photographs I’ve taken around our place. The rooster is a photograph my (then) 9-year-old son (Little Man) took. We are by no means professional photographers, which makes me happy that these have turned out so well!
11-11 this is a picture I took on 11-6-11 from my front yard. (notice the trampoline poles and top of the carport). I’m really surprised the foilage is so pretty. With the drought and major heat this summer, I didn’t think it would be very pretty. Some trees went dormant (I hope they aren’t dead) this summer.
We are living and loving life.

Just wanted to say I think you have a very nice blog site (I’ll be making your bruschetta recipe soon), and I ‘like’ you on FB now too.
Also, hey we share this!–“We believe in The WHOLE Bible. Including Yahweh and Yahshua (Jesus). We follow the 7 feasts of the Bible, the Torah (the first 5 books), we eat Levitically and Shabbat on Saturdays.”
Thanks Annie! I’m really looking forward to meeting you! My son asked about the Chili Dogs in Dec….if they would be “levitical” , turkey or beef, I told him you eat Levitically, so I’m sure they would be.
